| Please click HERE to take you to our current range of Robotic Lawnmowers The MowBot DeLuxe Version model is suitable for lawns up to 3000 square metres. This model comes complete with Remote Control, Automatic Rain Sensor, and Winter Recharging Kit. A perfect lawn everyday with no effort! Because MowBot can be programmed to mow your lawn a lot more frequently that you would manually, your lawn will look better than ever. The perfectly cut lawn every day really is achievable with MowBot. Your ideal height of cut is permanently maintained by MowBot, which is continuously nipping out to give your lawn a trim. Having your lawn trimmed just a little a few times a week is a much more healthy method of mowing your lawn. No mess & no more bags of grass cuttings Two sealed batteries power MowBot so there is no petrol or oil to mess with. Power consumption is extremely modest, using three highly efficient electric motors to power the wheels and the four cutting blades. What's more, you will not have to worry about collecting and bagging grass cuttings any more - MowBot is a mulching lawnmower, which means the grass cuttings are cut and re-cut, then blown back deep into the grass roots (which returns nutrients straight back to your lawn. Works around obstacles Before you set MowBot off to work, you will need to lay the border wire. This simple one-off installation defines MowBot's work area. MowBot will then work freely within the area defined by the wire, sensing its proximity to the edge of the lawn and any obstacles. For obstacles such as trees, walls and sheds, MowBot will sense when it bumps into them and promptly turn around and mow in the opposite direction. MowBot really does look after itself With any electric cordless product the first question to be asked is 'How often and for how long will I have to recharge it?'. We believe for a robot to be truly automatic it should take care of recharging its own batteries - and MowBot does exactly that! Once you have programmed how often you would like MowBot to mow, There is no need to do anything else. MowBot will leave its charging bay (which you can conceal under a bush or a tree) at the correct time, mow your lawn and, when it feels its batteries are running down, it will make its own way back to its bay to recharge. Installing MowBot at your home To install MowBot in your garden a wire will need to be laid around the perimeter of the lawn to define MowBot's work area. The border wire is pegged flush to the surface of your lawn, 30cm in from the edge or any obstacles which are lower than 15cm. After a couple of weeks the wire will not be noticeable as the grass will grow over the top. Alternatively, the wire can be buried (as deep as 40cm). The border wire, which creates a loop around your lawn, connects to the MowBot's garage which in turn is plugged into the mains electricity supply. The wire carries safe electric current which MowBot detects as it passes over it, causing MowBot to turn around and go in the opposite direction. Safety systems If MowBot is accidentally lifted up or turned over, the blade will stop automatically to avoid any injuries to family or pets. If the border wire is accidentally cut or broken, MowBot will automatically stop and display a warning on its control panel. MowBot will work safely on lawns that have gradients up to 27 degrees without losing power or speed, and without the risk of turning over. If you are concerned about children playing with the control panel, a pin number can be entered to prevent access (and this will also deter theft). The whole unit (including the control panel) is waterproof, allowing MowBot to operate safely in all weather conditions.
