The Harrier 48 Pro (479) is fitted with a high performance Honda GCVX170 engine. It has a fixed speed drive and a practical BBC or blade. brake clutch. The BBC stopsthe blade from turning allowing you to move the mower across paths and gravel withouthaving to turn the engine off. The drive is still engaged so no effect isneeded to push the mower. This also reduces time spent restarting the mowerwhen emptying the grass bag.

The 479 has a 48cm aluminium cutter deck and frontbumper.  The grass cutting height isadjusted by a single lever and has 7 fixed settings ranging from 13 – 60mm.Hayter’s rear rollers are constructed of reinforced polymer with glass-fibreweave. The 2 piece ribbed. roller design gives excellent traction and allowsyou to cut right up to the edge of lawn borders without tipping. The 479 producesan expert cut and produces a traditional striped effect to lawns.
