The Mountfield SP53 is a self-propelled 4 wheel mower built with a steel cutter deck and 53cm (20”) cutting width. The power drive propels the mower along at a comfortable travelling speed. The SP53 is single speed so stays at the one travelling speed.

The rotary Mountfield SP53 has some great features including grooved soft tread wheels with bearings. mulching plug and 60L fabric grass collector. Fabric grass catchers let air circulate through the clippings for more efficient collecting. The ergonomic soft grip handles can be folded down ready for transport or storage.

When using the mulch plug the grass cuttings will be cut into very fine pieces and deposited back onto the ground. The mulch is packed with moisture and nutrients great for the grass roots.

Choose the best cutting height for the working conditions from 5 positions which can be adjusted from 27 – 90mm. Start at the highest setting (90mm) then work down to the lowest (27mm) for the best cut and finish to the lawn. A single centralised lever adjusts the height quickly.
