The Tornado 398 is a side discharge machine which is recommended for use in areas where collection isn’t required. Ideal for areas where the grass is overgrown. Grass cuttings are laid out to the side of the mower in neat rows where they can be left to wilt back naturally. With an optional mulch kit available to purchase separately. Mulching allows for the cuttings to be chopped into tiny pieces and then blown back on to the grass where they virtually disappear. These tiny pieces then provide additional nutrients and moisture. giving a healthier looking lawn. Mulching is particularly beneficial during hot and dry conditions.

Featuring a 98cm (38 inch) cutter deck with 2 blades. the Series 3 Tornado 398 deck features 7 cutting height settings that can be adjusted through 25-80mm. It is recommended to start at the highest setting and gradually work down for the best cut and finish. The rear wheel drive and 18 inch tyres give added traction.
