The Stihl HSA 66 is an impressive cordless hedge trimmer. it’sfitted with an efficient brushless motor which has a much longer product lifethan brushed versions. The HSA 66 is powered by Stihl’s leading-edge 36v lithiumbatteries and they recommend the AP 100 (sold separately) which will run thehedge trimmer for 60 minutes on a single charge depending on the cutting conditions.

Cordless power is quiet. fume-free with minimal runningcosts and a very popular choice with contractors and landowners. Stihl’s lithiumbatteries have a LED indicator which displays remaining charge. There are twostages to the battery connection; the 1st stage is neutral which leaves thebattery in position for transportation. but not connected; the 2nd connects thebattery for use.

The durable. double-sided 50cm / 20” blade has a good bitehelped by the wide-tooth spacing and new droplet-shaped teeth. With theconstant stroke rate and good tooth grip on the branches. the hedge trimmerwill leave a smooth and precise finish to all hedge types. no matter how hardy.
